Skylar Memmel: I Love Her SOOO Much more than Chellsie

Okay well, the videos are out! Level 8's around the country are dashing to throw double fulls in attempts to qualify for this year's round of Pre-elite and junior elite spots that can only be handed to a few of the smallest gymnasts who had enough luck to 'not fall' the day of competition. One competiton in a row without falling, IT'S A NEW RECORD!!

Anyway, one of the newcomers this year is none other than the estranged sister of my arch nemesis: Chellsie Memmel. Yes, she comes to us from the M&M factory with the difficulty of my mother in elite gymnastics and absolutley nothing eye catching about her except for the fact that she is small, light/easy to fly in the air, and oh yeah... her big sister is a mega good gymnast [it pains me to say that]

---take a short break from watching Skylar, and read the rest---

with all of that said and done, i have to admit, she is pretty good for being about 10 years old. I mean on the good side of things: She doesn't look like her sister [a plus] doesn't do any the annoying things her sister does [another plus] and she most definitely will be beating her sister in everything in about a year and a half [bingo we have a winner!]

these are all the reasons why i like her 3 million times more than her sister, and i guess we can keep frequent updates on her until the 2016 olympics [since she's not even old enough to compete with the now very young 2012-ers]

and people are taking bets on the 2012 it girl! can you believe it? Naw, that it girl won't show up until 2011, and will probably knock Jordyn Wieber off the little pedastal she is mostly likely going to be sitting on. [don't worry, i love jordyn, but its eneviable that she will be named the 'it' girl when she becomes a senior in 2010] Oh, i'll leave that who story to another post.

Ta Ta for Now

no, she's born in '95, but she can move up in 2010, just like how all the people who were born in '91 [like natasha kelley] could move up to seniors in 2006 [two years before the olympics, but only born one year before the cut off mark for the olympics]
