Hi, pretties!

So Make it or Break it was worse than i thought it would be. But i will continue to tivo it until it is cancelled. Or maybe it won't be cancelled. Whatever. The acting was horrible the editing between stunt double and actor was worse. The actual skills they were doing was the absolute killer for me though. A tsuk, really? If anyone did a tsuk at nationals they would be consequently laughed off the podium. I mean... i can do a tsuk, granted its into a pit but i've had relatively minimal gymnastics training. so. yeah.

i mean not that anyone who can do that stuff is bad...it's just not going to get you to nationals. Couldn't they have found some college gymnasts to be there stunt doubles?

Anywho. So i am trying to compile a list of girls going to nationals this year [juniors] in the real world...who don't do tsuks.

Pua Hall
Claire Boyce <--- yayayay!
Jordyn Wieber
Kamerin Moore
McKenzie Wofford. <-- first timer
Sabrina Vega
Alex Raisman
Hallie MOssett
Sophia Lee <--- WOGA
Briley Casanova <---also WOGA

the list is ongoing

xoxox
PS: i have a new montage, might wanna check that out!

I could definitely see it getting canceled. My dad kept saying he thought the gymnasts looked too old. My problem is when they said the next Olympic champion on the vault could be Payson. She did a yurchenko, didn't she? Was it even laid out? I know she didn't twist. A DTY wouldn't even win. Come on now. And I thought form was an issue, especially on some of the tumbling/dismounts. And you're not going to nationals with a roundoff back tuck dismount. Sorry, it's just not going to happen. On top of all these insane inaccuracies, it was pretty bad. Yet somehow, I want to know what happens next...

i know! And they were all doing double back dismounts on bars. thats level 8 or 9 [or 10...depending on the person] She did a tucked yurchenko which is level 8 or 9. Roundoff back tuck is only level 8. ugh it was pretty bad. But the ro bhs 2 1/2 to punch front was pretty good besides the form issues. Yeah in the real world none of these girls would ever see a national or olympic stage.

There were some collegiate stunt doubles

Tasha whatever her last name is from UCLA, and her sister Jordan, were as well as current UCLA-ers.:)

Courtney Kupets did some stunt work, too after NCAA's.

It was soooooo lame...I'll watch it cause it's entertaining drama wise and I can point and laugh at all the flaws (I could do many of those skills without blinking an eyelash...ok maybe I would be rapidly blinking as I was only a Level 7 but still)

And that is not how you run towards a vault. Period.
